Jive Art is a leading Sunshine Coast contemporary art gallery featuring highly regarded Australian artists, including leading Aboriginal artists from Queensland, WA and the Northern Territory.
Jive was established on Hastings Street in Noosa Heads in 2005 and our small team see our role as that of matchmaker. We find and present artists that we believe are right for our clients, and introduce our clients to artists we believe in; fine artists who produce exceptional work that will stand the test of time. We are proud of the many warm and enduring relationships we have built with clients, artists and all of the many suppliers who help a gallery to function smoothly. We are grateful for these friendship and for their ongoing support.
Our leading artists include Michael Whitehead, Anita West, Mel Brigg, Holly Grace, Lucas Salton, Chris Pantano, Conchita Carambano and Katherine Wood. We also have a passion for the work of Aboriginal artists Barbara Weir, Lily Kelly, Esther Bruno,Jeannie Mills Pwerle, Abie Loy, Sarrita King, Ronnie Tjampitjinpa, Kudditji Kngwarreye, Yannima Tommy Watson, Daniel Romaine, Charmaine Pwerle, Kathleen Petyarre, Gloria Petyarre and many more.
In addition to representing established artists, we also showcase new and emerging artists to present collectors with new works and new artists they may otherwise have missed.
At Jive Art, we are as relaxed and as informal as you’d expect from a gallery in our beautiful beachside location, so pop in and browse at your leisure. Sandy feet and sunnies are right at home! And if you don't see exactly what you're looking for in our online gallery, please give us a call, there could be something underway in a studio, or on its way from a remote desert community.
