Title: Grass Seed Dreaming (Blue), size 90 x 120 cm.
Dreaming: In this painting, Barbara depicts grasses that used to cover her land before the introduction of cattle. Growing up, the grass which is actually more herb like, provided small seeds which were important for damper (bread) making. They were dried and ground using rock, mixed with animal fat and cooked over bush camp fires.
