Dreaming: This celebrates the seed of the yam plant which was an important food source for the Anmatyerre people around Utopia in the Northern Territory. Aboriginal women gathered the seeds and ground them into a paste to make a form of bread. Anna depicts the seeds pods as rhythmic crescent shapes filled with little white seeds. These pods flow across the canvas creating secondary patterns.
